Sidewalk Repair
If you have a sidewalk in front of your home that is in need of repair, contact Dave Jones (Public Works – City of New Haven) at djones@newhaven.in.gov or 260-748-7056. You may make a formal request for repair through the 50/50 sharing program. You pay half, the city pays half for the repair. Cost to you is $150 per 5×5 concrete panel.

If you do not contact Indiana 811 (i.e. “dig blind”), you run the risk of hitting a utility line, which could result in any number of undesirable consequences, including: disruption of utility service, property damage, fines, prosecution, lawsuits, injury or death..
